Help us to reach more people!

DivineOffice.org ministry joins the ever ancient and always new hymn of praise in the daily work, nourishment and commemoration which is prayer in community. You can help us to reach more people by nominating and voting for Divine Office on About.com's 2012 Readers' Choice Awards!

DivineOffice.org ministry believes "... it is supremely to be hoped that the Liturgy of the Hours may pervade and penetrate the whole of Christian prayer, giving it life, direction and expression, and effectively nourishing the spiritual life of the people of God." [#8, Apostolic Constitution, LOTH]

About.com's 2012 Readers' Choice Awards will showcase the best products, features and services in multiple categories. Nominations will be accepted from 12:00 A.M. EST on January 18, 2012, until 11:59 P.M. EST on February 15, 2012. Readers are free to nominate their own product or site, as well as someone else's, and to promote the Readers’ Choice Awards to their community.

How to Nominate Divine Office as Best Catholic Website, Podcast, iPhone and iPad App

Thanks to your votes, you elected us as the best catholic Website, Podcast, iPhone and iPad app for 2011. This recognition helped many people, who would have never found us otherwise, join in praying the Liturgy of the Hours. 2012 is here and Nominations for the 2012 About.com Catholicism Readers Choice Awards are now open!

Please consider nominating Divine Office Liturgy of the Hours for Best Catholic Website, Podcast and iOS App.

This year we ask you also consider nominating our "Catholicpedia" and "Prayer" apps to participate in the run as best iPhone/iPad app.
We feel they deserve to be ranked among the top 10 Catholic apps too!

Happy New Year!

As producer of Divine Office it has been my pleasure over these five years, to work with talented and dedicated volunteers who spend uncountable hours in the studio creating this beautiful liturgy. I want to extend my personal thanks to Chriss, Denise, Erika, Greg, Melinda, Monica, Randy, and Vince for their selfless donation of time to the benefit of our community in God’s worship -- and to Ana, Darko, Ivan, Ibrahim, Mauro, Ney, Rafael, Renato and everyone else at Surgeworks whose continued effort has continuously enhanced our technological infrastructure.

The Divine Office podcast is produced by our ministry with the purpose of promoting the tradition of praying always through these ancient treasures of the Church, not only to Catholics but to all Christians universally. We hope everyone will enjoy these free daily inspirational scriptures and prayers. We welcome suggestions, content, and ideas of how to make this a better resource for you as well as a better resource for our Lord.

Our team is hard at work to advance the evangelization through new media: please tell everyone and help us during this new year in our mission to build our community to glorify God and intercede in the world.

Thank you to all those whose love, dedication, and devotion, have contributed in making Divine Office, and those sharing with us in praise and community, possible!

From everyone in the Divine Office Ministry families to yours, we wish you a blessed 2012!

-- Dane Falkner, Producer
